Last month Zoya Nail Polish had a get three nail polishes free (you just pay $10 for shipping... so essentially, three polishes for $10). I picked up Avril, Heather and Wednesday.

Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. Zoya has a really great formula; it was easy to apply, manipulate on the nail, and it dried relatively quickly. The brush is great, not too big or too small, not too full or too thin, and the polish was easy to get out of the bottle. So how did the individual colors match up?

Avril
Of the three, Avril, surprisingly, was the sheerest; three normal coats and I could still see a little nail peaking though. This wasn't a deal breaker though as I really like the look and finish. Avril, unlike the color in the bottle above, is a rosey nude slightly darker than my skin tone color on me. Its very feminine and neutral; a great color to wear to work.Heather
Heather is a gorgeous almost pastel light lavender color and was opaque at three coats. This color is a fabulous color. Its cool enough to not make my hands look too red and its purple enough to not look chalky. A great spring color!
Wednesday
I picked Wednesday up because it looked like a Tiffany green and it ended up my favorite of the bunch. I am not one for blue or green nail polish (even though cobalt and emerald are two of my favorite colors... along with peach, mauve, taupe and black) but I fell in love with this color. Its a delicate yet bold teal green that leans right in the middle of blue and green. The color was the easiest to apply, being opaque with two slightly thicker coats. Its a modern, cheery color that's sophisticated but playful at the same time. If you are looking for a Tiffany-esque nail polish color that's great summer, spring and fall, pick this up today.
By kismet, the colors go together beautifully so after applying all three to my nails, I added colored tips in alternating colors to really make a mod color statement.
I especially love Heather as the base color with Avril as the tip color. I was going to add a heart to the Wednesday ring finger nail but I ran out of time. Plus, I think its more chic/odd/interesting without it. However, it would be a super cute and feminine alternative to the traditional Valentine's Day manicures out there if a heart was added. Hmmm... Decisions, decisions...
All in all, I ended up really loving Zoya Nail Polish (as this was my first purchase with the company) and plan on buying more in the future. The formula was very good for the colors I tried, the price point isn't bad and I really like the brushes. What about you? What is your favorite color here? What are your favorite Zoya colors that you think I should check out?
